The Course

The tournament will be held at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw Ga.  Pinetree boasts a 6,900 yard championship golf course which challenges every shot. Its bent grass greens are known for their legendary speed and sweeping breaks. 

Pinetree has hosted the Georgia State Golf Association Amateur Championship three times the last being 2003. 

Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead played the first rounds at Pinetree and Larry Nelson, the Senior P.G.A.'s leading money winner in 2000, honed his skills here as an assistant pro. He holds the course record of 62, set in 1978.  

  The Class A P.G.A. professional staff is headed by Darryl Speegle, Head Professional.
